INTEGRATED
LISTENING
SYSTEM

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Focus Programs are unique auditory neuro-plastic interventions that we offer at THE VILLAGE.

  • iLS programs effectively “re-train” parts of the brain involved in learning, communication, sensory processing, movement, trauma, and more.

  • iLs programs can be utilized in the in-clinic setting and/or as an at-home program to augment services at  THE VILLAGE when recommended.

THE SAFE AND SOUND PROTOCOL (SSP)

The Safe and Sound Protocol, an evidence-based therapeutic tool available at THE VILLAGE, is a non-invasive listening therapy designed to reset and regulate the nervous system. Designed to work with other therapeutic approaches, the SSP features specially filtered music that stimulates the vagus nerve.

When integrated into our collaborative and comprehensive model by our trained clinicians at THE VILLAGE, SSP has demonstrated benefits for individuals of all ages with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and much more.
